Sushmita Sen’s Father’s Surprising Reaction On His Daughter’s Relationship With Lalit Modi

On 14 July 2022, Thursday, the first chairman, commissioner, and founder of the Indian T20 League, Lalit Modi announced his relationship with the Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. He shared a post where he confirmed his relationship with her. He also shared some of their pictures from the Maldives.
Both cricket and entertainment fans got surprised as the news came out of nowhere. However, the actress also came up with some captions to clarify her position in this relationship through her social media platforms. Now, speaking about this relationship, Sushmita Sen’s father, Shubeer Sen said that he was completely unaware of Lalit Modi.

Speaking to ABP Ananda on Thursday night, Shubeer Sen said that he did not know anything about this. He said: “I don’t know anything about this. I spoke with my daughter in the morning but she didn’t say anything. I saw the tweet for the first time when you mentioned it to me. I don’t know what should I say when I don’t know about it.”
He also added that Sushmita, who is currently in London, is spending time with her friends. However, she has never mentioned Lalit to her family before. “Definitely, I will get to know about it later. All I am saying is I don’t know about it till now. We generally talk about kids, health, and if she is eating properly…We talked like how we always do. I haven’t heard anything about him (Lalit Modi). I would have told you if anything; There’s nothing to hide.” Shubeer Sen added.
However, he concluded by saying that he needs to be sure of them first before accepting Lalit as his son-in-law in the future. As of now, Sushmita Sen threw away all marriage rumours as she wrote that she is just in a happy place without having any marriage, or rings. She is only surrounded by unconditional love right now.
