Virat Kohli decided to step down from his position of Test captain on Saturday just a day after India’s disappointing loss by a 1-2 margin against South Africa. The cricketing fraternity came together to congratulate Kohli on his journey. He finished as the most successful Indian captain in Test cricket and became the only Indian captain to win four overseas Test matches in a calendar year.

Indian food delivery app Swiggy also joined the party to congratulate the former Indian captain in their own way. In their recent Tweet, Swiggy mentioned how Kohli dominated the red-ball cricket as captain for seven long years. They even called him the ‘King’ which Kohli’s fans use to address him. Swiggy went a step further and added that they would be celebrating his reign by having Kohli’s favorite cheat meal which he mentioned a few years back.

During an episode of Breakfast with Champions hosted by Gaurav Kapoor, Kohli mentioned what he would like to have on a cheat day if allowed. Kohli mentioned Ram’s Chole Bhature situated in Rajouri Garden and added that he would have their chole bhature along with onions, mint chutney, and some pickle.

“Ram’s Chole Bhature in Rajouri Garden 110 per cent. That too I’ll go to his shop and have it…not take away. By the time it comes home, it’s not a bhatura anymore. It feels like a stale bread. Fresh bhatura’s where you pop a hole with your finger along with some onions, mint chutney and some pepper pickle,” said Kohli.
