Australia recently defeated India by six wickets in the final ODI World Cup 2023 match to lift the world’s biggest cricket tournament’s title for the sixth time at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19 November.

Australia’s striking all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was one of the top performers for the team throughout the World Cup. Glenn Maxwell’s wife, Vini Raman who is from India and had settled in Australia to find love in the Australian all-rounder, recently shut down the brutal trolls.

Raman was getting trolled over the DMs, as Australia defeated her home country. She openly accepted that she could support her home country as well as the team where her husband who is also the father of her child plays.

On her social media accounts, Vini Raman tweeted, “And cue all the hateful vile DMs. stay classy… can’t believe this needs to be said, BUT you can be Indian and also support the country of your birth where you have been raised and more importantly the team your husband + father of your child play in #nobrainer take a chill pill and direct that outrage towards more important world issues.”

After winning the ODI World Cup 2023, Australia’s all-rounder Glenn Maxwell expressed his happiness and said, “Bit of a slog but it feels amazing, we were all excited when it got back down to 20 runs. I resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn’t have to bat like in 2015, but Heady got out and I had to go out there and finish the job. It is a bit different when you see Head take on Bumrah, I got a taste of my own medicine. The head was phenomenal and Marnus was second to none. It was an unbelievable partnership.”
