Three players who can lead Bangalore in 2022 season

Faf du Plessis
The former South Africa skipper was bought by Bangalore after battling with his old team Chennai in the auction. Plessis has led Proteas in 39 ODIs and 37 T20Is. The Proteas has won 28 ODIs and 25 T20Is under his leadership. At the age of 37, he is still a force to reckon as we have witnessed in the T20 leagues around the globe. Since missing out on T20 World Cup ticket last year, even after performing well in the shortest format, he will have a point to prove. His cool and calm demeanor makes him a good captaincy prospect in a team which has a lot of inexperienced players at this level.
Dinesh Karthik
Karthik played for the team in the season 2015. He has captained Kolkata and Delhi (on interim basis). He led Kolkata in seasons 2018, 2019 and mid 2020 before being replaced by Eoin Morgan. The right-hander has a point to prove as he looking to make a comeback into the national team. His captaincy record suggest that he can be an option to lead the team. He has led a team in 43 games winning 21 and losing 21. One game ended in a tie.
