Saurabh Kumar is another name that had been circulating for a quite time now around the Test squad of India. He was the part of India A squad that toured South Africa in November-December 2021.
This left-arm spinner from Uttar Pradesh represented his state in 49 games where he picked up 201 wickets at an average of 24.87 and strike rate of 54.9, including 16 five-wicket hauls. In his career, he scored 1657 runs while batting down the order including two hundred. He was also part of the Indian Test Team during Sri Lanka’s visit earlier this year.
