The Indian squad for the five-match T20I series of their tour to West Indies has been announced. A few senior players of the team have been given a rest, while some players will also be making a comeback in this series. Many young players will also get a chance to play in the series. However, many players who were in contention to make it to the team have missed out. Here are the players who were unlucky to miss out on India’s squad for the West Indies tour.

Sanju Samson made his T20I debut for the Indian team back in 2015. However, he has never been a regular feature for the international side. Recently, he was a part of India’s squad that toured Ireland for a three-match T20I series and also the first match of the England series.

In addition, he will be a part of the ODI series against the West Indies. The Rajasthan team captain in the Indian T20 League has been in good form for a while now. However, his performance with the Indian team has been inconsistent, leading to him being dropped.
