‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ – Twitter reacts to Rishabh Pant saying brushing teeth post-accident has been an achievement
In spite of miraculously surviving the accident, which occurred in December last year, Rishabh Pant’s car caught fire early in the morning. Pant’s car collided with a divider between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district as he was making his way from Delhi to his home in Roorkee. The 25-year-old gave his fans an encouraging update on his progress and requested them to keep sending him love and support. The southpaw also admitted that despite missing cricket and wishing to return to the field, he has gained a unique take on life as a result of the setback he experienced.
After being involved in a car accident and suffering various injuries, Pant explained how he spends his days in an interview with IANS, attending three physiotherapy sessions per day. Pant indicated that he is recovering fine when questioned about it. “I am much better now and making some good progress with my recovery. Hopefully, with the grace of God, and the support of the medical team, I will be fully fit very soon,” the wicketkeeper-batter said.
I take some rest and time to refresh myself for the second session: Rishabh Pant
Pant further mentioned that since the accident gave him ample opportunity to think, he has developed a fresh perspective on life. “It is hard for me to say if everything around me has become more positive or even negative. However, I’ve gained a fresh perspective on how I view my life now. Something I value today is enjoying my life to the fullest and this includes the smallest of things that we ignore in our daily routine. Everyone today is hustling and working extremely hard to achieve something special, but we’ve forgotten to enjoy the little things which give us joy every single day,” he stated.
Pant provided more details about his healing process by revealing that he participates in numerous physiotherapy sessions while attempting to tolerate as much discomfort as he can.
“I try to follow my daily routine as per schedule. I wake up in the morning and then I undergo my first physiotherapy session of the day with my physiotherapist. Post that, I take some rest and time to refresh myself for the second session. I start my second session soon after, and train according to how much pain I can endure, especially after a tough first session,” the middle-order batter said.
Here’s how fans reacted on Rishabh Pant’s update:
He should be happy that he was not booked for overspending.
