The England Cricket Board introduce a new tournament named ‘The Hundred’ in 2021. Initially, they planned to kick off this event in 2020. However, due to the pandemic outburst, it got delayed. Hence, in 2021, the first edition occurred. Southern Brave came out as the champions in the inaugural season.
Now, the second edition of this tournament is ongoing from 3 August 2022. Ahead of this season, all eight teams build a strong squad to showcase their talents.
