4. Richard Allen
He is the second-only goalkeeper for India to win a Gold Medal. The first one was Ranganathan Francis. Meanwhile, Allen won three consecutive Golds in 1928, 1932, and 1936.
In the 1928 Olympics, he played in five matches without conceding a goal. Eight years later, he featured in four matches and conceded only one goal. Allen conceding only two goals over three campaigns is an Olympic record that still holds to this day.
