Top five most awkward moments on cricket field
Cricket, like any other sport, has its fair share of embarrassing incidents that have occurred over the years. Cricket brings so much fun, raw passion, and nail-biting finishes for us. Eleven players for each team gave their full commitment on the field to entertain us. Several times cricket has witnessed some embarrassing moments too.
Sometimes fans might forget about the match, but they remembered that particular moment for a long time. From bizarre dismissals to comical fielding errors.

5. Billy Bowden had shown first ever red card in cricket
That incident happened in a T20I match in 2005 between Australia and New Zealand. New Zealand need 45 runs in the final ball. The bowler was Glenn McGrath. McGrath knew that it was not possible for the kiwis to win, so he decided to enjoy the match. He made a few steps back and acted as if he would throw an underarm bowl. New Zealand umpire Billy Bowden did not like that gesture of Glenn McGrath and he had taken a red card from his pocket and showed it to Glenn McGrath. Everybody including the crowd burst out in laughter.
