Top 5 Most Memorable innings of Virat Kohli at the Adelaide Oval
4. 90 not out against Australia in 2016
In the first game of the three-match T20I series, the 2008 U19 World Cup-winning captain hit 90 not out and continued his love affair with the venue. Batting at number three, he carried his form of the preceding five-match ODI series in which he hit two hundreds.
Talking about this innings, he came out to bat after the wicket of Rohit Sharma on the last ball of the fourth over. After batting for 16 overs, he scored 90 not out. One can only imagine what if he had opened the innings on that day. This was his highest score in the T20I format before he hit his maiden hundred against Afghanistan in the Men’s Asia Cup 2022.
