2. Parvinder Awana 33 runs, 2014: This match will always be remembered for a memorable knock played by Suresh Raina. Punjab batted first in the match, and on the back of Sehwag’s century, put up a huge total of 226 runs in their 20 overs.
Chennai while chasing lost Du Plessis in the very first over. Raina came in and started a storm. Chennai was 67 for 2 after the fifth over, when Parvinder Awana was brought into the attack. Raina started the over with a six and followed it with one more in the next delivery. After this, he hit 5 fours in the next 5 deliveries in which one no-ball was included. Thus, the over cost Punjab 33 runs and Chennai crossed the 100 mark in the 6th over. But after Raina’s dismissal, Chennai lost their way in the middle overs and ended up losing the match by 24 runs.
