1. $92,000 – Dilshan Madushanka:
Another outstanding player from Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka, made an impact when he became the most expensive player in the LPL 2023 auction that was about to end. Despite losing Binura Fernando to Dambulla Kings, Madushanka was added by Jaffna Kings for a record-breaking $92,000. The left-arm bowler, who had a base price of just $20,000, raised a bidding battle between Jaffna Kings and Galle Titans before the former team won the challenge. With 12 T20I wickets to his record, Madushanka has been on fire lately. The 22-year-old got nine wickets in the most recent three-match ODI series against South Africa A, which helped him win support from the franchises.
