Amidst the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League 2022, the food delivery platform, Swiggy has made headlines a couple of times, only for the wrong reasons. Interestingly, the food delivery app is sponsoring the ‘Swiggy Fastest Delivery in the Tournament’. And, yet the players are lashing out at the brand for its poor service.

Recently, Krishnappa Gowtham shared his bad experience with the food delivery app. Taking on Twitter, the Indian spinner explained the negligence of the food delivery platform by not delivering his order on time.

“I’ve had the absolute worst experience with @swiggy_in. My order #134669736448 was placed at 9:45 pm and I still haven’t received the order. At 11:35 pm, I finally got a response from customer support saying there’s nothing they can do.”

A lot of cricket fans took this as an opportunity to troll the platform. Some of them even suggested Gowtham to get the food delivered by Umran Malik or Lockie Ferguson, thanks to their fast bowling speed.

For the unversed, both Umran Malik and Lockie Ferguson have been the two fastest bowlers in the ongoing season of the Indian T20 League 2020. Umran Malik currently holds the record for the fastest delivery bowled in the ongoing edition of the cash-rich league. He clocked 154 kmph in the match against Chennai.

Recently, Shubman Gill also took a dig at the food delivery app for its inability to deliver food on time. Taking to Twitter, he shared a post, in which he asked Elon Musk to buy Swiggy so that they can deliver the food on time.

Nevertheless, the 15^th edition of the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League 2022 is currently underway. Gujarat are sitting at the top of the table with 8 wins in 10 matches, followed by Lucknow and Rajasthan at second and third position respectively.
