UFC 293: Sean Strickland vs. Israel Adesanya receives attention of UFC fighters

UFC 293 has witnessed a shocking result. The match between Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya ended with a result that was expected by very few people. Strickland defeated Adesanya and created a shocker. As soon as Strickland beat Adesanya, the fans were stunned to the core. They could not believe what they just witnessed in the arena. The fighters never expected the result to be against Adesanya. 

Strickland defeated Adesanya via decision, which will now be regarded as one of the biggest upsets in the history of UFC. Strickland surprisingly had the lead in the match right from the start, In the first round, Strickland had the upper hand against Adesanya. The MMA Twitter could not believe what they were witnessing. Everyone was in absolute shock.

The professional fighters who saw the main event reacted to the fight. Andre Fili said, “Style Bender looks locked in the zone.” Derek Brunson wrote “This year has been weird for MMA upsets. Roman Dolidze wrote “Let’s go @SStricklandMMA, it’s your time.” Jamahal Hill could not believe what he was seeing and commented “Man whaaaaat.” 

The UFC fighters were visibly surprised with how the match was going on. The first round was clearly in favor of Strickland. The second and third rounds seemed difficult to judge. It did seem like the third round was narrowly in the favor of Strickland. But in the fourth round, Strickland had a clear lead against Adesanya. The tables turned way more quickly than expected.

Strickland might win this Ish!” Sean Strickland eventually defeated Israel Adesanya via unanimous decision (49-46 X3) and won the middleweight title in UFC 293.
