The Indian T20 League franchise, Bangalore achieved an unbelievable feat. They have featured among the top three sports teams across the globe for the highest social media engagement in April 2022. As per a report by Deportes and Finanzas, Bangalore is in the second spot for social engagement for the month of April among all sports teams. This is also by any cricket team in the history of the game.
Talking about numbers, for the month of April, Real Madrid CF received the highest social media engagement across the globe with 321 million engagements. They were followed by Bangalore at number two with 190M and FC Barcelona at number three with 179M fans engagement.

Though being the second-ranked team in the world is a pleasant surprise but it is much in the line of expectations as per the names involved with the team are concerned. They have big names like Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell on the team to name a few. For the unversed, social media engagement refers to all types of action that a fan could have with a social media handle. It includes everything from a like, comment, sharing a post, or retweet in case of a platform like Twitter.
