 VCT Pacific Kickoff; Group Stage and Play-in results

The Playoffs for VCT Pacific Kickoff are set to take place soon, with matches starting February 24. Four teams will face each other, with only the top two securing a spot at VCT Masters Madrid.

The group stages gave us the first three teams moving to the Playoffs while three teams made their way to their way to the Play-In through a group stage decider match.

ZETA DIVISION defeated Global Esports, while Team Secret defeated Talon Esports from Groups A and B. As for Group C, Gen.G Esports made their way to Play-in after defeating Rex Regum Qeon.

Here are the final four teams moving to the Playoffs

Play-In

The Play-in decided the final team, moving to the Playoffs. ZETA DIVISION, Team Secret and Gen.G Esports each played two matches each in a Round-Robin group. The team with the most wins and points would move forward.

All matches were played in a best-of-three format with Gen.G Esports taking down Team Secret in the first match. The second match saw Team Secret make a comeback with a win against ZETA DIVISION.

The scour would have worked out in favour of Team Secret, however, Gen.G Esports won their second match against ZETA DIVISION and secured a spot in Playoffs.

Playoffs

The Playoffs will feature a Single-Elimination bracket with Semifinals played as best-of-three while the grand finals will be best-of-five. Both teams reaching the grand finals will qualify for Masters Madrid.

Masters Madrid will take place after all regional Kickoff are concluded. Each of the four regions will feature two teams for a total of eight competing in a Swiss Stage format.
