In a bizarre incident in the women’s match between Australia and South Africa, Alana King, the Australian all-rounder, hit a six off a ball which turned into a no-ball. Moreover, she also hit her wickets on the same ball off Masabaata Klaas. Thus, everything happened in one ball, ‘no ball, hit wicket and six’.
As Klaas bowled, the ball went above King’s waist and the umpire declared it a no-ball. Seeing the ball, King used her full strength and hit the ball for a six. Meanwhile, she managed to hit the wickets. The fans were thrilled to see the sequence of events that took place in the match in Sydney. Not only the spectators, but the players enjoyed the match as well.

It was a beautiful cameo by Alana King as she came towards the end of the innings and scored two spectacular sixes. She scored 17 runs off 12 balls which included two sixes. She was batting with a strike rate of 141.67 before getting dismissed by Klaas.
AUS vs SA Women’s match summary
In the match between Australia and South Africa (W), the hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. Their main aim was to bat first and put some pressure on the South African team. They stuck to their plan as they scored 277 runs at the loss of nine wickets. Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy played an amazing innings of 80 and 60 runs respectively. Tahlia McGrath also scored 44 runs off 35 balls helping the Aussies reach a massive score.
South Africa’s Masabata Klaas took four wickets at an economy of 6.20. As the Proteas came to bat, they lost four quick wickets at just 63 runs. Fortunately, the rain came to their rescue. As they need 2015 runs to win with only six wickets in hand, the Proteas will be hoping for a washout. In that case, the series will end in a draw, 1-1.
