I threw a few wide balls against Virat bhai: Kuldeep Yadav
For RCB, the former India skipper scored 50 runs off 34 balls, which included six fours and a six in his innings. Star Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell scored 24 runs from 14 balls with three massive sixes. In the end, Shabaz Ahmed scored unbeaten 20 runs off 12 balls with three fours, which helped the home side post a total of 174 runs with the loss of six wickets.
The pick of the bowlers for the Capitals were Marsh and Kuldeep Yadav, who snapped two wickets each in their respective spells. Where one side the Australian conceded 18 runs in his two overs, on the other side, the 28-year-old conceded 23 runs in his spell of four overs with one maiden over. One wicket each was bagged by Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav as well.
“The wicket was on the slower side, so I tried to hit the right areas and right lengths. I threw a few wide balls against Virat bhai. He (Maxwell) was going really well, I believed in myself, so I got him out, and next ball even got DK (Karthik) out, pulled the game back in our favour. Just trying to bowl in the right areas, if you do that, you’ll get wickets. 175 is a good total as the pitch is on the slower side. Need to keep rotating the strike, especially against the spinners,” Kuldeep was quoted as saying/
