Watch: As India battle intense heat wave, Harbhajan Singh shares old video of him and Yuvraj enjoying in snowy hill station
It’s summer time in India and Northern states of the country is bearing the brunt of extreme heat waves. The soaring temperatures are taking a toll on the common man. The temperature has broken all time records. Former India cricket Harbhajan Singh is known for his hilarious social media posts. Recently, the former cricketer posted and old video where he and Yuvraj Singh can be seen chilling at hill station. In the short video, the former off-spinner said ‘Thand badi hai’ while complaining about the extreme chilly conditions. In reply, the left-hander’s responded that the weather is lovely, although he is shivering and couldn’t speak in his original voice. The duo have been friends since they started playing together for the Indian team in 2000. Even after retiring from the game, they remain to be close friends.

Talking about their careers, Harbhajan started playing for the country two years ahead of Yuvraj. The former made his debut in 1998 while the latter came into the scene two years later. The players hail from Punjab and have stayed throug thick and thin of each other. The duo was part of the 2003 and 2007 ODI World Cups where the team lost the final and was crashed out in the first round respectively.
On the other hand, they were part of the victorious teams in 2007 20-20 World Cup and 2011 50-over World Cups. After the 2011 triumph, there careers started going downhill. One month after the triumph, Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer and he took a break from cricket. Meanwhile, Harbhajan’s form saw a dip and he was in and out of the side. The duo tried making a comeback but with emergence of new players, they couldn’t get back back in the team.
Currently, Harbhajan is part of the Hindi commentary team for the ongoing Indian T20 League 2022. On the other hand, Yuvraj might feature in the Road Safety World Series, which is reportedly set to be played in June this year.
