Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has become a victim of theft. Cash and jewelry have been stolen from his MDC Sector 4, Panchkula residence. A total of 75000 INR and pieces of jewelry have been stolen. At this point, all the suspicion has gone down to househelp staff. The likes of Lalita Devi from Saketdi, and the cook, Sildar Pal from Bihar are under suspicion.

Yuvraj’s mother, Shabnam Singh, has claimed that she has been staying at their other residence in Gurgaon since last September. As she returned to their Panchkula home, she found out that some of her jewelry and other items missing from the cupboard in a first-floor room. The left-hander’s mum did try to find out on her own but to no avail.

Notably, Lalita Devi and Sildar Pal abruptly terminated their employment and fled during the Diwali festival period. This further led to the suspicion of Shabnam and she decided to register an FIR against them. The Police have registered the FIR officially and SHO Mansa Devi decided not to give too many details.

“If we disclose everything to the media, how will we manage to apprehend the thieves?” Devi said.

She got the support of SHO Dharampal Singh and they ceased any further communication with the media.
