Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam lost his temper when a bunch of fans of Multan abused him in the match against Multan Sultans on Friday. Babar Azam is the new skipper of Peshawar Zalmi from this season.

The 29-year-old Pakistan middle-order batter sitting in the dugout with technical staff and watching the match. Suddenly a group of fans deliberately chanted the term ‘Zimbabar’ and the Pakistan star lost his cool. After winning the toss the new skipper of Peshawar Zalmi chose to bat and Peshawar scored 179 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Babar scored 31 runs. Usama Mir, David Willey and Mohammad Ali took 2 wickets each. Multan all out at 174 and Peshawar Zalmi won their first match of the season by 5 runs.

Babar did not like the gesture of the fans, he looked animated. He was looking angry at something and was seen calling the fans towards him . He then picked up the water bottle in anger and threatened to hit the trolls with it. Thankfully nothing has happened and the matter did not go further. A spectator took the video and uploaded it to social media.
