Bismah Maroof and her daughter have grabbed the headlines for the third time in the ongoing World Cup. The mother-daughter duo first attracted the headlines after the India-Pakistan game. At that time, the Indian players shared some fun moments with Maroof’s daughter. The videos and photos of that event went viral and a lot of former players praised the players. India had beaten Pakistan by 107 runs.

The second time the mother-daughter duo grabbed headlines during the Australia game. She brought out the cradle celebration after scoring a fighting fifty. The video went viral in no time. However, the team lost the game by seven wickets. This time around, the Women In Green were playing against the West Indies.

Pakistan won the toss and asked the Women In Maroon to bat first in a rain-curtailed game. The decision proved right as the West Indies were restricted to 89/7 in a 20-over game. In reply, the Bismah Maroof-led side chased down the target after losing just two wickets with eight balls to spare. This was the first win for the team in the competition, with the team almost out of the semis contention.

After the game, the 30-year-old celebrated the win with her newborn. The video was posted by the cricket’s governing body on their Instagram account. Talking about the points table, Pakistan are languishing at the bottom, with only one win in five games with a Net Run Rate of (-0.878). On the other hand, the West Indies are still in contention with six points in as many games,
