On 13 August 2022, Manchester United suffered another humiliating loss against Brentford in this year’s Premier League. After losing the first match at home, United fans were expecting a win from the team in the second match. But, players failed to show up miserably as the home team thrashed United by 4-0.

Unlike the first match, United coach Erik ten Hag started Cristiano Ronaldo in this match. But, the Portuguese superstar did not even help his team from avoiding this hocking defeat. Meanwhile, after the match, Ronaldo was seen to storm off the pitch without even acknowledging his manager. The video got viral on the internet and fans have shared it on several platforms.

Here is the shared video:

Cristiano Ronaldo was absolutely frustrated after Manchester United’s Two consecutive losses in this new Premier League season

Speaking of the viral video, Cristiano Ronaldo was seen absolutely frustrated after the final whistle. Some United players went to show their respect towards the visiting fans. But, the Portuguese superstar refused to do that. He stormed off the pitch and did not even acknowledge ten Hag.

Speaking about the match, Brentford took the lead when Josh Dasilva managed a shot outside of the box in the 10th minute. United goalkeeper David de Gea’s howler helped him also in scoring that goal. However, in the next 25 minutes, all United players looked completely clueless as the ‘Bees’ took a 4-0 lead after 35 minutes. However, they did not concede any more goals in the remaining match. This loss took them to the bottom of this year’s Premier League after two matches. They already conceded six goals without even scoring one by themselves (one goal scored was an own goal in the last match from the opposition).

However, after the match, David de Gea took the blame on himself for letting his team down. Speaking to Sky Sports, he apologized to fans and labeled his performance as ‘poor’. “I’m just taking my responsibility today. I think I cost three points for my team. It was a poor performance for me. After the first mistake and then the second, it was very difficult for my teammates. At the moment it’s tough every time we concede a goal. I should save the first shot – (if I had) the result would be different.” De Gea said.
