Being a doppelganger of a celebrity can bring you fame but also created chaos in your private. Over the years, the doppelgangers of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, etc have had to face such situations. Sachin’s doppelganger couldn’t go out after India’s first-round exit in the 2007 ODI World Cup. The fans used to use to gather around him and ask questions about the team’s failure.
Meanwhile, during the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, Neymar Jr’s doppelganger couldn’t get away from the craze of the fans. He was walking on the streets, and the fans caught him and started taking selfies. Little did they know that he was a look-alike of the Brazil striker. Talking about the look-alike, his name is Eigon Oliveira. Notably, during his turbulent stay in the middle eastern country, he wore Brazil star’s training suit, sunglasses, cap, and beard, making it very difficult to tell the two apart with the naked eye. Additionally, he appeared to share tattoos with Neymar, and he frequently traveled with a companion who was a staff member of the Brazilian soccer federation.
Meanwhile, talking about Brazil’s knockout game, the five-time winners knocked over the Koreans by 4-1 at the full-time. In the game, Neymar converted the penalty opportunity into a second goal. This was his 76th for Brazil, leaving him one short of tying Pele for most goals scored in the country’s famous yellow jersey. After the game, he said that the team is dreaming of winning the title.
“We’re dreaming of the title, of course,” Brazilian talisman Neymar said. “Today was the fourth game, there are three left. We’re very focused on getting that title.”
