On 25 September 2022, India Capitals took on Gujarat Giants in the seventh match of the ongoing Legends League Cricket. The match took place in Delhi. However, India Capitals managed to win the match by six wickets while chasing a target of 153 runs. It was a good victory for the India Capitals skipper, Gautam Gambhir at his home ground.
But, after the match, the former India batter showed a great gesture towards a young fan. His heartwarming gesture won the hearts of fans as the video went viral. Even, the official account of the Legends League Cricket shared the same video on Twitter.

Gautam Gambhir scored only 14 runs during his team’s successful chase of 153 runs
Speaking of the video, the 2011 World Cup-winning player was heading toward the dressing room after the completion of the match. Then a young fan came running towards him and touched his feet. Meanwhile, Gambhir asked him not to touch his feet. Then, that young kid gave a chart paper to Gambhir and asked for an autograph.
In response to that, Gautam Gambhir agreed and fulfilled the wish of his fan with a smile on his face. After that, that kid was also seen as very happy due to such a great gesture from Gautam Gambhir. Speaking of the match, India Capitals won the toss. So, Gautam Gambhir asked Gujarat Giants to bat first in the Arun Jaitely stadium. While batting first, Gujarat scored 152 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs.
Tilakaratne Dilshan scored 75 runs off 59 balls, including nine fours and one six. On the other hand, both Pravin Tambe and Ashley Nurse took two wickets each for India Capitals. In reply. Gambhir only scored 14 runs off 11 balls, including two fours. But, Hamilton Masakadza scored 50 runs off 34 balls as India Capitals chased the target down in 18.5 overs. They won the match by six wickets. After this match, both India Capitals, and Gujarat Giants have now five points from four matches. Although, India Capitals are sitting at the top due to a better run rate only (+1.304).
