WATCH: Hardik Pandya returns to bowling in nets while recovering from ankle injury
All-rounder Hardik Pandya is making the new year good for the Mumbai Indians. In a recently shared video, Hardik is seen bowling and doing fitness in the nets. As the IPL is approaching, seeing Pandya back is a great piece of news for the Mumbai Indian fans and the Indian fans as well. He was suffering from an ankle injury after the World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh. Since then, he hasn’t played any matches and was ruled out of the World Cup along with the South Africa tour and the Afghanistan tour.
Hardik says, “I am feeling very good after coming back here. I treat it as a temple, because of the amount of things I’ve learnt on this ground, it’s like a temple for me. What it has taught me is priceless. My journey started literally 17 years back on this very ground. I will make sure everything is possible today, every day.”
The video shared by Pandya shows him bowling in the nets back in Baroda. He is quite excited to be back at the ground where he is practising. The Mumbai Indians fans are content that their captain is getting fitter as the IPL is approaching. If Pandya becomes fully fit before the IPL, it will be interesting to see him play as MI’s captain.
