On 28 September 2022, Pakistan locked horns with England in Lahore for the fifth match of the ongoing T20I series. Coming to this encounter, both teams managed to win two games each. However, Pakistan managed to win the match by six runs while defending a low target of 146 runs.
After the match, Pakistan’s Shadab Khan came to attend the post-match presentation. There, he revealed his chat with the England all-rounder, Moeen Ali during the match. His remarks left Moeen Ali in spit as he was waiting to attend the press conference from the England side. The video went viral on social media platforms and fans also loved it.

Speaking about that video, Shadab Khan was talking about the subjects concerning the game. Then, he said: “Meri Moeen bhai se baat ho rahi thi. Maine kaha mujhe pitch toh achha lag raha hai lekin I don’t know score kyun nahi ho raha. Dew factor bhi kaafi zyada tha, toh score hona chahiye tha. Pitch kaafi achha tha batting ke liye, but score nahi hua. (I was talking to Moeen bhai. I told him the pitch looked good for batting but I don’t know why we weren’t able to score. There was a lot of dew on the ground as well, so there should’ve been a high score. Pitch was good for batting.).”
After that, the announcer said: “Moeen bhai is here. Thank you so much, everyone.” Then, Shadab Khan said that he said that remark after seeing the English all-rounder only. “Moeen bhai maine aapko dekhke bola tha (I said this after seeing you, Moeen bhai),” Shadab Khan concluded.
Speaking of the match, Pakistan got bundled out for 145 runs in 19 overs. Shadab Khan scored only seven runs off two balls. But, they managed to defend it as England managed only 139 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Moeen Ali remained not out on 51 runs but it was not enough to cross the line. while bowling, Shadab Khan took one wicket for 25 runs in four overs. With this win, Pakistan took the lead with a 3-2 margin.
