Watch: James Anderson bowls left-arm spin at the nets ahead of the second Test against Pakistan
England Test team is up and running after winning the first Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Not to forget, they created a result on a dead and undeteriorating surface that has a history of being one of the fastest wickets in Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Three Lions have gotten a lot of praise for the way they played in the first game. They are leading the three-match series by 1-0.
Meanwhile, ahead of the ongoing second Test in Multan, England’s James Anderson was seen bowling left-arm spinners. It was a rare sight as the England spearhead in Tests is a right-arm pacer. In the video, the Lancashire player was seen bowling twice with his left arm. It was clearly visible that he was doing it for fun. The video is doing rounds on the internet.

Meanwhile, talking about the ongoing game, the Ben Stokes-led side won the toss and elected to bat first. They did the same in the previous game too. Meanwhile, after winning the toss, Stokes said that the team will wait and see what the wicket offers. Notably, the two-time World Cup winner added that the team would look to bat the same way they did in the first game. For the unversed, England scored 506/4 on the first day of the Rawalpindi Test
“Have to wait and see what it [the pitch] offers but hopefully we can go out and set the same sort of benchmark with the bat,” he says. England had named their XI in advance, with Mark Wood coming in for the injured Liam Livingstone. Babar Azam says he too would have batted. “Pitch looks dry, we will have to bowl in the right areas,” Stokes added.
