KL Rahul, an India wicketkeeper batter, has been living in London ever since he moved there during the IPL 2023, when he sustained a hip flexor injury on May 1 while playing for his side, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

He was disqualified from the match and afterward disqualified from the Test Championship final because he had to travel to the United Kingdom for surgery. As he waits for recuperation to start his rehab, he just uploaded a photo of himself using crutches on the streets of London.

In the meantime, a fascinating video of KL Rahul has surfaced on social media. The brief video posted on social media shows the former vice-captain of India enjoying a dancer on stage at London’s Luxx Club strip club when the camera, which was recording the entire scene, also caught him.

KL Rahul shares surgery update

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, as he provided an update regarding his surgery, Rahul finished the medical procedure on his thigh. Since that time, he has been in London. The LSG captain praised the medical team for their outstanding support throughout his surgery in an Instagram post he posted about his rehabilitation. The message read, “Hi everyone, I just got done with my surgery – it was successful. A big thank you to the doctors and medical staff for making sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. I’m officially on the road to recovery now. I’m determined to get back to my best and get back on the field. Onwards and upwards!”

The Indian batter’s injury has caused him to miss the remainder of the Indian Premier League as well as the forthcoming World Test Championship final against Australia. Ishan Kishan was soon named by BCCI as KL Rahul’s replacement in the crucial Test Championship.
