Australia and Pakistan are currently locking horns for the second test match of Pakistan tour of Australia 2023. Pakistan won the toss and invited Australia to bat first in their home at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In favourable conditions, the Australian batters put 187 runs on the board on day one of the match at the loss of three wickets.

In between the innings, the wide ground with long boundaries was attacked by multiple pigeons as the Australian middle-order batsman Marnus Labuschagne tried to scare and send them away With his bat during the 47th over of the game.
