The International League T20 (ILT20) is at its concluding phase, with the final to be played on Sunday, 12 February. It will be a repeat of the first playoff game played on February 8 between Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants. The Vipers defeated the table toppers, the Giants by 19 runs to book their place in the final of the inaugural edition of the tournament. The Red Brigade, Vipers were the first to reach the final. Later on, the Giants had to defeat the MI Emirates in the third game of the playoff to set a date with Vipers again, as the two teams will go for the title at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
Amidst all the action, MI Emirates player Najibullah Zadran found some time to engage in friendly play with some young fans of the game. The left-hander was seen passing on cricketing tips to the young boys.

MI Emirates was beaten by four wickets in the second qualifier of the ILT20 ‘23
Although Zadran found respite by spending some quality time with young fans in the stadium, the Emirates squad had a day to forget on February 10. The team was comprehensively beaten by the Giants, which means the Emirates will play no part in the competition.
Speaking of the game, the Giants won the toss and forced the Emirates to bat first. The Blue Brigade, MI managed a decent 167/5 in their quota of 20 overs riding on skipper Kieron Pollard’s knock of 57 off 35. Both Chris Jordan and David Wiese returned with two wickets for the Giants.
In reply, the Giants cruised to the target within 19 overs, with captain James Vince not out at 83 off 56. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rashid Khan returned with two wickets each but could not do much about the run flow as the Giants achieved the target comfortably with 11 deliveries.
