After losing the first match of the series, Pakistan took on England in Karachi for the second match. On 22 September 2022, the stage was set as Pakistan were hoping to equalize the series. However, they did not disappoint their fans as the Men in Green won the match in a convincing manner. 

Pakistan chased down the 200-run target with all 10 wickets to spare. After having a poor run of form since the Asia Cup, Babar Azam scored an unbeaten ton to secure the victory. But, when the Pakistan skipper reached the century mark, his partner also celebrated. Fans loved it as the video went viral.

Mohammad Rizwan scored 88* runs along with Babar Azam’s century to chase down the 200-run target

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 18th over. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were cruising towards the chase. For England, Sam Curran was bowling. On the fifth ball of that over, Babar played the delivery softly in off-side. Then, he ran for a quick single for completing his second T20I ton. Babar completed his century in just 62 balls.  

But, during that running between the wickets, it was seen that Rizwan was celebrating his skipper’s magnificent ton. While running, he raised his hands and after reaching the crease, he raised both his hands to acknowledge that scintillating knock.  Speaking of the match, England won the toss.

Then, Moeen Ali opted to bat first. England skipper scored 55* runs off 23 balls as they scored 199 runs in 20 overs. In the Asia Cup, Babar Azam scored only 68 runs in six innings, at an average of 11.33. In the series opener also, the Pakistan skipper scored 31 runs off 24 balls. Former players were also criticizing him for his overall strike rate. But, he silenced his critics as Babar scored 110* runs off 66 balls. His partner, Mohammad Rizwan also scored 88* runs off 51 balls. Thus, this opening pair managed to win the match for Pakistan in just 19.3 overs.
