The 1-1 tie at home versus Al Khaleej severely hurt Al Nassr’s title chances. Despite being the clear favourite throughout the contest, Ronaldo’s team was unable to pursue the victor. As a result of the tie, which dropped them five points below table-toppers Al Ittihad, Cristiano Ronaldo became irate and attempted to push a fan who was attempting to snap a selfie away.

Al Nassr lost the game before the fourth minute after Fabio Martins gave Al Khaleej the lead. Alvaro Gonzalez’s strike for Al Nassr in the 17th minute restored parity. The Al Khaleej custodian made some outstanding stops to maintain the score at 1-1 as Ronaldo and Talisca continued to press for the winning goal.

The opponents’ players and staff surrounded Ronaldo as he made his way to the tunnel following the disheartening tie. A member of the Al Khaleej assistance team hurried to get a selfie of the superstar, who initially disregarded him but persisted, as the 38-year-old swapped shirts with an opposing player. The Al Nassr worker respected the former Manchester United forward’s choice and went away as the Al Nassr skipper appeared to shove him aside and enter the locker room.

On Tuesday night in the Saudi Pro League, Al-Nassr will play host to Al-Ta’ee. Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay in Saudi Arabia was not as successful as planned because Al Nassr are not going to take home any hardware this year.

What’s the plan of action for Cristiano Ronaldo after this?

Ronaldo has notched 12 goals across 13 league games since joining Al-Nassr, despite rumours claiming the five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or wants to quit his new team. According to El Nacional, it now appears that Real Madrid is eager to grant Cristiano a non-playing position as an ambassador.

Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo’s girlfriend, is rumoured to long to go back to Madrid, where the two first met. Ronaldo is a Real Madrid club legend, who scored 451 goals across 438 games while playing at the Bernabeu. If the Portuguese player stays in Saudi Arabia, he might find himself playing alongside his longtime foe Lionel Messi, who is considering a £320 million-per-year offer from Al-Hilal.
