Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma interacted with each other following India’s win over Australia in the fourth T20I. The two finishers played a crucial role in India’s win in the match. On a sluggish wicket in Raipur, the two batters framed a good partnership, that helped India to post an above par total on the board. As a result, India managed to win the game over Australia.

After being invited to bat first, India found themselves in a tricky phase, losing Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, and Suryakumar Yadav in their quick succession. That was when the two batters joined to frame a good partnership for the fifth wicket. While Rinku Singh scored 46 runs in 29 balls and continued his good run in the series, Jitesh impressed everyone with his 35(19) with the bat.

India managed to score 174 runs in their 20 overs. With the help of some exceptional spells from the spin duo of Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi, India was able to successfully defend the target. It helped India win the series with a game to go. After India’s win, there were fireworks, as the home side won the series against Australia. Following it, Rinku and Jitesh had a conversation with each other in the middle.

The duo spoke about their partnership in the middle. Rinku enquired Jitesh by asking about the last match he played for India. Jitesh replied saying that he played the Asian Games match in China against Bangladesh. Rinku then asked Jitesh’s opinions on playing his first game for India at home. Jitesh said that it was an awesome experience in the middle to play in front of the home crowd and bat alongside the former.

Rinku Singh hit a 100-metre six in the match. Jitesh enquired about the same with Rinku. The Southpaw replied saying that lifting weight in the gym sessions helped him in power hitting. Jitesh acknowledged that he was under a bit of pressure, which was not the case with Rinku, who seemed to be at home playing in the middle.
