West Indies lost the match against India by 59 runs
Speaking of the video, it was Axar Patel who was bowing in the fifth over. West Indies was at a score of 49 runs for two wickets in just 4.5 overs. Meanwhile, on the last delivery of that over, Nicholas Pooran was at the striking end. He nudged the ball in offside and ran for a quick single. But, both the batters got involved in a mix-up as Pooran got run out for 24 runs off 8 balls only.
It was Sanju Samson who threw the ball to Rishabh Pant and he looked to mock the West Indies captain by waiting to dislodge the stumps. However, Rohit Sharma did not look happy with such an action as he was seen telling him to complete the runout first. Anyway, that incident did not become a barrier for India. They thrashed West Indies by 59 runs while defending a massive target of 192 runs.
Avesh Khan won the player of the match award for his impressive spell. He took two wickets for 17 runs in four overs. The last match of the series is going to happen on 7 August 2022 in Lauderhill, Florida. Rohit Sharma and his men will be in action for the last time in the shortest format before the upcoming mega event, Asia Cup.
