India managed to seal another T20I series under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy when they defeated West Indies on 6 August 2022 in the fourth T20I. With this win, India took an unassailable lead of 3-1, with one more match to go. However, during the match, an incident took place which did not please Rohit Sharma at all.

However, the incident happened while India was fielding. It involved the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Rishabh was looking for some cheeky trick but it did not go well with his skipper. Meanwhile, the video got viral and it got surfaced on the internet.

Here is the shared video:

West Indies lost the match against India by 59 runs

Speaking of the video, it was Axar Patel who was bowing in the fifth over. West Indies was at a score of 49 runs for two wickets in just 4.5 overs. Meanwhile, on the last delivery of that over, Nicholas Pooran was at the striking end. He nudged the ball in offside and ran for a quick single. But, both the batters got involved in a mix-up as Pooran got run out for 24 runs off 8 balls only.

It was Sanju Samson who threw the ball to Rishabh Pant and he looked to mock the West Indies captain by waiting to dislodge the stumps. However, Rohit Sharma did not look happy with such an action as he was seen telling him to complete the runout first. Anyway, that incident did not become a barrier for India. They thrashed West Indies by 59 runs while defending a massive target of 192 runs.

Avesh Khan won the player of the match award for his impressive spell. He took two wickets for 17 runs in four overs. The last match of the series is going to happen on 7 August 2022 in Lauderhill, Florida. Rohit Sharma and his men will be in action for the last time in the shortest format before the upcoming mega event, Asia Cup.
