WATCH: Shoaib Akhtar gets involved in fun banter with former India veteran, shares video on his YouTube channel
India vs Pakistan are the arch-rivals on the sporting field and over the years we have witnessed some of the most iconic sporting moments between these two nations, especially in the field of cricket. We have had icons on both sides of the border in Cricket who have entertained us with their riveting battles on the cricket field but apart from fighting it out in the cricket field most of the Indo-Pak cricketers share a great camaraderie outside the field.
One of the prime examples of the bonhomie among cricketers of these two nations has been of Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar. Both the cricketers have had a long span of careers for their respective nations and in this long career, they have had some grueling battles on the field which has kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
But outside the cricket field, both have been seen together on numerous occasions and together enjoy a fun and amicable relationship. One of the main reasons for this relationship is that they both are from the Punjab region on either side of the border and therefore have similar language, food habits and mannerisms to an extent which makes it a fun equation between the two.
Shoaib Akhtar vs Harbhajan Singh: Sprint Challenge
Both these veterans of Indo-Pak cricket were recently commentating together in the ILT20 league in UAE where both of them were seen in their old selves enjoying the company of each other. Both of them also got involved in a funny banter, where Shoaib Akhtar was seen scolding his Indian counterpart funnily. Here is the video of both of the stalwarts:
Both Shoaib and Harbhajan even had a sprint competition between them to test each other’s fitness. Shoaib Akhtar shared the moments of this fun banter with Harbhajan Singh on his YouTube channel which took the cricket fans of these nations back in the time of their playing days when we used to witness both of them fiercely competing against each other.
Another Pakistan legend, Wasim Akram was also present there in the ILT20 league and seeing the three legends of Indo-Pak cricket was a treat for the fans of both these cricketing nations.
