Shoaib Akhtar asked producer to throw anchor Shefali Bagga in the swimming pool. However, he it was a sarcastic comment. The former Pakistan speedster is currently playing for Asia Lions in the inaugural Legends League Cricket. Bagga is a famous Indian television personality, who has worked with news channels such as Aaj Tak, ABP News, and India TV.
She was conducting a contest named ‘try not to laugh’ with the former speedster, the video of which was posted on her Instagram account. The 27-year-old introduced Akhtar as ‘a legend and god of all time’ in the video. The purpose of the contest was to make Akhtar laugh. While the pacer didn’t enjoy the first two jokes, he burst into laugher on the third attempt after which he jokingly said “Chalo fenko isse pool mai (Now, throw her in the pool).”
The video has been viewed by 110475 people and has got 12,514 likes. The video was captioned, “Try not to laugh with @imshoaibakhtar. Its great fun to see the stars having a laugh doing these challenges on social media.”

Meanwhile, Asia Lions will lock horns with World Giants in the final of the Legends League Cricket on January 29. On January 27, Indian Maharajas had to beat the Darren Sammy-led side to progress to the final, which they fail to do after which Asia Lions progresses to the summit clash.
