Over the years, fans have always enjoyed taking a catch in the stands. After all, most of the fans aren’t professionally trained to catch a seasoned cricket ball. Not to forget, quite of few them have gotten injured because of it. Meanwhile, in the ongoing inaugural season of SA20, a Sunrisers Eastern Cape fan took a brilliant catch in the stands.

After this, he started celebrating which reminded the former India skipper Virat Kohli. The former started celebrating like Kohli and was surrounded by other fans sitting around him. Notably, the origin of the video is not known as of now. However, the SEC played a game against Paarl Royals on January 24. The video might from the same game although nothing can be said with surety.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost to Paarl Royals

Meanwhile, the Orange Army’s last game against Paarl Royals was on January 24 before all the teams went on the two-day break. Notably, this break was pre-planned when the schedule was announced. Meanwhile, in the game between SEC and PR, the home team, Sunrisers won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the decision started proving wrong as the Eastern Capes were restricted to 130/7.

For the team, only JJ Smuts (65) could do something substantial with the bat. On the other hand, Evan Jones, Andile Phehlukwayo took two wickets each for the Pink Brigade. Apart from this, Bjorn Fortuin, Lungi Ngidi, and Tabraiz Shamsi took one each. In reply, the Royals were in the game even though they lost five wickets for 91 runs. In the end, skipper David Miller took the team over the line with an unbeaten 37 runs. Apart from him, Jos Buttler scored 51 runs. The team won the game by five wickets.
