On 29 September 2022, India Legends took on Australia Legends in Raipur for the first semi-final of the ongoing Road Safety World Series. After the end of the group stage, only India, Sri Lanka, Australia, and West Indies qualified for the semi-finals. Speaking of the match, skipper Sachin Tendulkar won the match and elected to field first.
Australia batters started well. But, during the fielding, Suresh Raina came up with a stunning catch for India Legends. The former Indian player brought back the old days as he pulls off that stunner on the field. Fans also went crazy seeing that as the video went viral on social media platforms.

Suresh Raina has scored 64 runs in four matches so far in the Road Safety World Series 2022
Speaking of that catch, it was the 16th over of that inning. For Australia, Ben Dunk and Cameron White were batting. For India, Abhimanyu Mithun was bowling. In the last delivery of that over, Mithun tried a widish yorker and Dunk sliced it to the off-side. It was flying but Suresh Raina went full-stretched to grab it with both hands. Thus, Ben Dunk got out after scoring 46 runs off 26 balls, including five fours and two sixes.
Speaking of form, Suresh Raina did not have a good tournament so far with the bat. In four matches, he has scored 64 runs at an average of 32. Hence, he will look to dwell in the semi-final for his team. Speaking of the match, Australia Legends scored 136 runs for five wickets in 17 overs. Along with Dunk’s 46 runs, Shane Watson and Alex Doolan scored 30 and 35 runs respectively.
However, the match got stopped after that due to rain. So, the match will resume from the same point on 29 September 2022. For India Legends, Abhimanyu Mithun was the highest wicket-taker with two wickets in three overs for 15 runs so far. Apart from him, Yusuf Pathan also took two wickets for 36 runs in four overs.
