WATCH: Third Umpire gets stuck in elevator during Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test
Australia and Pakistan are locking horns for the Boxing Day Test match in the 2nd Test of Pakistan tour of Australia 2023. In the game, Pakistan won the toss and invited Australia to bat first in the largest cricket stadium in the world, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Australia put 187 runs on the board on day one of the match while dismissing Pakistan for 264 runs on day two.
On the third day of the match, a slight delay was witnessed as the third empire was stuck in the elevator. This was a unique delay that occurred just at the beginning of the third over of Day 3. The Australian batters, Steve Smith and David Warner had to wait for a few minutes before resuming the game.

Australia currently stands with a lead ahead of Pakistan on day 3 of the Boxing Day test match. The Pakistan batters Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood scored 62 and 54 runs off 109 and 76 balls to reduce the team’s trail. In the second innings, Pakistan successfully dismissed the Australian top order for a low score and took quick wickets.
