Speaking of the incident, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel went up to his counterpart Antonio Conte to shake his hand after the final whistle. the exchange got fiery with both managers coming face to face. When Tuchel shook Conte’s hands, the latter was not looking at the Chelsea manager and this seemed to have irked Conte. Meanwhile, players came to separate both of them and The match referee then issued red cards to both Conte and Tuchel.
Now, speaking of the match, Chelsea’s new signing Kalidou Koulibaly showed his class on his home debut as he scored in the 19th minute. However, Spurs failed to score any as Chelsea ended the first half with a 1-0 lead. Then, Hojbjerg came up with an equalizer for the visitors in the 68th minute. But, when three points were looking a surety for the home side, Harry Kane snatched a 96th-minute equalizer to salvage a 2-2 draw from this feisty London derby.
