Watch: Virat Kohli grooving to ‘Oo Antava’ from Pushpa in Maxwell’s wedding party
Glen Maxwell was one of the retentions of the Bangalore team for the Indian T20 League 2022. He joined the team a bit late at the beginning of the season missing a few matches owing to his marriage with Vini Raman. Notably, the franchisee arranged a celebration party on the 27th of April as the pair completed one month of their wedlock.
All the players of the team were seen enjoying their time at the party while donning traditional Indian attire. A video of the star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli grooving to the popular number ‘Oo Antava’ from the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has gone viral on social media platforms. The attendees all shared pictures from the function on their social media handles.

For the unversed, Vini Raman is of Indian origin and hence her marriage with Maxwell took place in the traditional Indian way. The franchise kept the essence alive as they went for the traditional Indian theme in the celebratory party as well.

Bangalore’s Campaign in the Indian T20 League 2022
After a brilliant start to their campaign in the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League 2022, they have lost momentum. They managed five victories in their first seven matches but with defeats in the last two matches, they have been derailed.
In the match against Hyderabad, Bangalore suffered a humiliating defeat being bundled out for the lowest total of the ITL 2022 season. They were just able to score 68 runs, which Hyderabad chased down easily with nine wickets remaining.
The humiliating defeat was followed by another dismal performance against Rajasthan. In the match against the men in pink, the Bangalore bowlers looked on song as they restricted the opposition to just 144 runs in 20 overs. While chasing the target Bangalore lost their way at the very beginning and was never able to recover. They were bundled out for 115 runs in the 20th over falling short of their target by 30 runs.
They will be facing the apparently invincible Gujarat team in their next match on the 30th of April at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. The men in red will look to bring their campaign back on track winning their next match.
