Watch: Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan shake a leg for fans at Eden Gardens after second ODI against Sri Lanka
Even though Ishan Kishan hasn’t got any opportunity to play in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka, he didn’t forget to have fun. Alongside former India skipper Virat Kohli, the wicketkeeper batter danced to the tunes. Apparently, music was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata after the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka. Both players, in their training jackets, danced to the music and entertained the fans.
Notably, the former India U19 skipper, Ishan hasn’t got the opportunity to play in the ongoing ODI series. Notably, the left-hander smashed a double hundred in the last ODI he played. In the third ODI against Bangladesh last December, he opened the batter as skipper Rohit Sharma was ruled out. However, despite hitting a double ton, he is sitting although Shubman Gill has been performing consistently in ODIs for India.

Talking about the game, the Men In Blue took an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. After the Lankan Lions won the toss and decided to bat first, they had a good start as they scored 102/1 in 15.5 overs. However, regular wickets in the middle overs meant that the visitors were bowled out for 215. Debutant, Nuwanidu Fernando scored fifty while others failed to apply themselves.
For the Rohit Sharma-led side, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj took three wickets each. On the other hand, Umran Malik and Axar Patel took two one one wickets respectively. In reply, the home team had a poor start as they lost four wickets for 86 runs. Previous match centurion, Virat Kohli was cleaned up by Lahiru Kumara on four. Apart from him, the likes of Sharma, Gill, and Shreyas Iyer failed to make an impact.
At this stage, former vice-captain KL Rahul came to the rescue as he scored an unbeaten 64 and stitched an important partnership of 75 runs with Hardik Pandya. The likes of Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav did their part to take their team home.
