Watch: Vivian Richards and Javed Miandad’s cycling race in Pakistan

Former Pakistan and West Indies skipper, Javed Miandad and Vivian Richards were one of the great batters in the 70’s and 80’s. That era was dominated by the bowlers such as Garners, Holdings, Akrams, etc. During their careers, they created fears in the minds of the bowlers. Talking about Miandad, he was the first player before Sachin Tendulkar to play six ODI World Cups.

Meanwhile, both legends were seen cycling inside a stadium in Pakistan. By the looks, the incident happened a game of the ongoing Pakistan Junior Super League. The fans were loving the two legends racing on a bicycle. The incident is going viral on the internet

Meanwhile, Miandad also reacted to Indian Cricket Board‘s decision for not allowing their team to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. He said that the politics must be kept aside from the sport. Apparently, India and Pakistan doesn’t enjoy good relations at the political in the last few years. The 1992 World Cup winner also went on to say that his country’s cricket is doing well even without playing against India.

“Totally, they must play. Keep politics aside. Yes, there are some issues between India and Pakistan, but that should not come in between sports. You are doing wrong with your own people and nothing else. You are not playing against us, but cricket is still going on. You may play or not play against Pakistan, but this nation has always been welcoming.”

“There is too much politics in cricket; it was not like this earlier. Many good people have quit because of this politics. Earlier, there were people in the Indian cricket board who could understand these things (Indo-Pak issues) really well.”
