On 19 September 2007, India took on England in the first-ever 20-20 World up in Durban, South Africa. It was the 21st match of that tournament. Even though, it was a group match for those teams. India managed to win that match by 18 runs. Yuvraj Singh was the player of the match for scoring 58 runs in 16 balls only. But, during that inning, Yuvraj humiliated England’s pacer Stuart Broad.

He hit him for six sixes in an over and smashed him for 36 runs. By doing that, Yuvraj Singh also became the fastest to score a fifty (in 12 balls) in a T20I game. Now, on 19 September 2022, Yuvraj celebrated the 15th anniversary of that incident with his son, Orion. He shared that video on his Twitter account as the video went viral quickly.

Here is the shared video:

Yuvraj Singh hit seven sixes and three fours in that inning against England in the 2007 20-20 World Cup

Speaking of the video, Yuvraj Singh was seen enjoying that match against England at his own house on Television. But, he was watching that with his son, Orion. Thus, Yuvraj thoroughly enjoyed that as he shared that with a nice caption.

The caption read: “Couldn’t have found a better partner to watch this together with after 15 years #15YearsOfSixSixes #ThisDayThatYear #Throwback #MotivationalMonday #GetUpAndDoItAgain #SixSixes #OnThisDay”. Speaking of that match, MS Dhoni won the toss and he opted to bat first. Both the openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag had a great start.

Gambhir scored 68 runs off 52 balls while Sehwag scored 58 runs off 41 balls. But, it was a show from Yuvraj Singh that surprised everyone. Stuart Broad came up to bowl the 19th over of India’s innings. Then, the former Indian all-rounder pulled out that carnage against him. He hit six sixes in those six consecutive balls of that over. India scored 218 runs by losing four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, England scored 200 runs in 20 overs by losing six wickets. Eventually, India won that World Cup with the influential form of Yuvraj Singh throughout the tournament.
