India and Pakistan to lock horns on October 14 in ODI World Cup 2023
Pakistan all-rounder, Imad Wasim arranged a meeting between the two batters after the India Vs Pakistan game in the ODI World Cup 2019. “We sat down and spoke about the game. I saw a lot of regard and respect from him from day one, and that hasn’t changed. Regardless of the fact he’s probably the top batsman in the world across formats, and rightly so,” Kohli was quoted as saying in a show on Star Sports.
India will lock horns with Pakistan in their opening fixture of Asia Cup 2023 which will take place at Kandy, in Sri Lanka on September 2, 2023. They might likely meet again at the Super 4 stage if they both advance to the next round. If both of them get to the finals, they may face each other a third time at the Asia Cup. After the Asia Cup 2023, both teams will play each other on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad for their ODI World Cup 2023 fixture.
