Pakistan did not have the best start to their 20-20 World Cup 2022 campaign as Indian superstar Virat Kohli stole the match away from them at the MCG. They are now preparing to face Zimbabwe in their next match on October 27th at the Perth Stadium.

Ahead of the clash, Pakistan Cricket’s official Twitter handle posted images of their players practising at the venue. Under the post, a Zimbabwe fan has started a hilarious banter involving the TV character “Mr. Bean,” played by Rowan Atkinson. The Twitter user issued a strong warning to Pakistan ahead of their match against Zimbabwe.

He recalled an incident from 2016 when an imposter from Pakistan fooled Zimbabwe at an event by headlining as Mr. Bean. “As Zimbabweans we wont forgive you…you once gave us that Fraud Pak Bean instead of Mr Bean Rowan ..we will settle the matter tommorow just pray the rains will save you…” wrote the user named Ngugi Chasura.

“What happened brother?” a Pakistani fan questioned. “They gave us Pak Bean instead of Mr Bean on one of our local events called agriculture show,” Chasura explained. The hilarious banter has gone viral over the internet ever since.

In the meantime, The Men in Green will look to avenge their loss to arch-rivals India on Sunday. Their next match will be crucial for the team led by Babar Azam, as a loss here will severely limit their chances of reaching the semi-finals.

As for Zimbabwe, they managed to beat Ireland and Scotland in the first round to qualify for the Super 12 stages. They faced South Africa in their first match after that, but the game was washed out due to rain. They sneaked one point on the board in what seemed a lost cause against the Proteas.

The Perth Stadium will host the Pakistan-Zimbabwe encounter at 4:30 PM (IST).
