Gujarat Titans beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore to crush their playoff hopes in IPL 2023. The Hardik Pandya-led side beat the Bold Army by 6 wickets. RCB got to 197-5 in their 20 overs. Virat Kohli was at the forefront of it. The former RCB skipper made a classy 101 off 61 balls with 13 fours and one six. But GT overhauled the target quite easily. Shubman Gill scored a cracking 104 off 52 balls with five fours and eight sixes.
After the match finished, Naveen-ul-Haq wasted no time on social media. He took a jibe at Kohli for losing the game against GT. He uploaded an Instagram story of an African singer laughing. This was in response to RCB not qualifying for the playoffs. When the story was put out a lot of fans came in support of Kohli and said that Naveen-ul-Haq is crossing the line. Kohli and Naveen had a heated confrontation with each other at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

This happened when the two met for handshakes. Naveen appeared to grip Kohli’s hand very tightly. But in the end, Kohli somehow managed to shake it off. The on-field spat resulted in another off-field spat on social media where the two exchanged barbs at each other. The altercation between the two did not stop there. When Kohli got out in another game in the IPL 2023, Naveen put out a story showing the scorecard after Kohli’s dismissal along with a basket of mangoes. It was captioned ‘Sweet mangoes’.
GT were better than RCB in all departments. GT’s bowling though expensive did not allow RCB to breach the 200 barrier at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Gill and Vijay Shankar had a match-winning partnership and took the game away from RCB. The man from Punjab also scored two consecutive centuries in two games just like Kohli had. RCB finished sixth in IPL 2023.
In what was a season of leaps and bumps for RCB, they failed to produce consistent quality cricket at a stretch. The Bold Army will rue losing a couple of close games at home which eventually made the difference between them not making it to the IPL playoffs in 2023. The Bold Army had made it to the playoffs in the last three seasons.

This guy is just crossing the limit every time & has so much unwanted attitude both on & off the field. Kohli is a world class player. I know it does not give him licence to do anything but still ig Kohli has shown Naveen his correct place.
